Dog owner wins $50,000 after leash fight

The owner of a 3-year-old Labrador named Lucky who was injured in a fight with another dog was awarded a $50 the owners of a $100,000 dog leash and $20,000 for the dog’s owner were awarded.

The Washington State Court of Appeals unanimously upheld the award of the $50k prize and the $20k reward for Lucky’s owner, who is also named in the lawsuit.

The judge wrote in his decision that the two dogs were “unnecessary and unnecessary,” and that Lucky should have been taken off the leash immediately.

The owner, Lisa Hurd, argued that Lucky was aggressive with the other dog, and that her dog had been repeatedly bitten.

She said she had taken Lucky to the vet three times in the past year, but had not been able to treat the injury until now.

Lucky was injured on April 5, 2018, in a brawl between two pit bulls, who were both aggressive.

The fight was captured on video and went viral.

The owners were awarded $50K in punitive damages, the judge said, adding that they will appeal.

The owner had to reimburse $20K in medical bills, the court noted.

Lucky is expected to be out of surgery and will be back to work soon.
